back at it....

I am grateful to be feeling well enough to work on a little editing again. I wasn't knocked down for as long as I thought I would be- yay!

I have already shared a few of this gorgeous little baby girl, but I can't help it- I have to share a few more. 

I have a few more sessions to finish editing and then I'll be moving on to Christmas stuff! It will also be nice to play a little catch up of my own.

what a hero...

I have not posted in a week now because I have been recovering from some surgery, but I did want to share one photo of someone I really admire. 

With Remembrance Day just passing, I thought I would want to take a picture of a man I know who was in WWII. He is always happy to share stories and talk about his experiences. As each year passes, we have less and less men and women with us who fought so bravely in that war, and I always want to remember that great service.

This man had his full set of medals on earlier in the day, but because they were so heavy he removed them by this point. What he is wearing however is an exact replica of his medals. I appreciate all that he did for us and for his willingness to talk about the war and his experiences. He is a hero.

ok, well not so wee, but wonderful! We had so much fun at Sean and Katelyn's wedding and reception. They were absolutely stunning.

Yesterday I was able to photograph my first set of twins- a boy and a girl. They were PERFECT. 

Their mom is busy but doing such a great job! They were healthy, happy, and beautiful...

all i want for Christmas...

As I sit here and edit my photos while listening to Christmas music (yes, that's right, Christmas music) I can't help but think that a little girl as cute as either one of these would be a wonderful gift!! I'm sure their parents think so!

They were so adorable- I loved every minute of it...

it's always good to see old friends...

We were lucky enough to visit some of our friends in Detroit this month. I have photographed three of their babies, most recently their one month old baby girl! She is gorgeous.

We also did some shots of her adorable siblings- it was a  blast!

I made this little shirt for her- she truly is an angel!

Happy Halloween...

I have many pictures to edit from Halloween, but here are a few for now. We had the warmest Halloween that I can ever remember! Usually we do about 10 houses and the kids have drool frozen to their faces.

This year we were able to  go out for as long as the kids could take, and we didn't even have to cover their  costumes with warm winter coats.

It was a lot of fun!
